Getting to the museum
The State Museum of Natural History Karlsruhe is conveniently located on Friedrichsplatz in Karlsruhe's city centre.
By public transport:
The Museum is a short walk from the U-Strab-stops "Marktplatz" (Stadtbahnen S1/S11, S2, S5 and tram1) and "Ettlinger Tor/Staatstheater" (Stadtbahnen S1/S11, S4, S52, S7, S8 and tram2) tram stops. By car: Take the B10 to downtown Karlsruhe (Kriegsstraße). At Ettlinger Tor, exit in the direction of Stadtmitte. Public parking is available in the Friedrichsplatz, Landesbibliothek, IHK and ECE-Center car parks.
Coach parking is available at the Festplatz and Staatstheater.
